Welcome to my new website.  I have launched this site primarily to facilitate access to my weekly photo essays.

The newest essays can be accessed by clicking the title/date you want in the “Recent Posts” heading in the sidebar to the right.  For older essays, click in the “Older Blogs”section, and  you can browse by month.  (Initially, I had started to put older essays in the “Pre-Blog Essays” heading in the sidebar, but I have now completed the process of retrospectively converting those pages to back-dated blogs.  By the way, the fact that I can do that makes one wonder about the dates you see on other blogs on the web!!)

In any post, you can double-click on the image to bring up the full size version.  Then simply click on your Back button to return to your place on the page.

Please note that all the pictures I use are my own work unless specifically stated otherwise.  They are intrinsically copyright protected.  I post them for the personal pleasure of the viewer, so I do NOT put an ugly watermark across the image.  I am also using a self-hosted website you will not see any advertisements.  Nor will I try to sell you anything.  So please do NOT use any of these images for commercial purposes.  If you wish to use them for any other purpose, please click on the “Contact Me” tab in the menu bar at the very top of the page, and send me a message.

By the way, the header picture on this website is the soon-to-be-historic swing bridge in Surf City on Topsail Island, North Carolina.
