- Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28mm-300mm This is my general purpose “walkabout” lens
- Sigma 300mm-800mm Massive (and heavy) telephoto. Use of tripod virtually mandatory.
- Tamron SP AF DiII 11mm-18mm (DX) Super-wide angle aspherical (i.e. not “fisheye”). I bought it mainly to capture a rainbow in a single frame. Unfortunately, I bought it when I was using the D-90, and it is a half-frame lens, not totally compatible with the D-600.
